Burnt Turnt

One color I've noticed people feel either really positively for or totally against - is burnt orange. I'll never forget at one of my old jobs someone said, "I hate that color, but you can pull it off." For some reason, despite the odd comment, I've navigated towards this color ever since. And I don't just think I can pull it off, I truly think it looks great on any skin tone.  This top in particular I was drawn to because it's off the shoulder, and I've been obsessed with off the shoulder for a long time. I am super into this top, this dress and this dress right now.

I'm also incorporating two other trends that I've seen pop up all over this spring: ripped denim and fun sunnies. These Quay Australia sunnies are my absolute favorite for spring. I think they give any look a fun, edgy cat eye look, and the color "Sugar + Spice" just makes me feel edgy when I wear them.

I wish I remember the boutique I got thus bag from. It's a reversible bag and even came with a smaller over the shoulder bag in the exact same color - how amazing is that! Two for the price of one. I got it at a small boutique while I was in New Orleans for my girlfriend's bachelorette party. I've been wearing it every day since! This gold color is perfect all season long and fits everything I need, including my computer and more - without putting a strain on my shoulder.
