Get ready to start spring cleaning, ladies and gents, because there are some new fashion collaborations that you'll want to start making room for in your closet!
Firstly, Kendall and Kylie Jenner's new collection debuted on Jan. 28th, with the looks available to shop this month - they teased this new line a few weeks ago on Instagram. They have previous collections with both TopShop and PacSun, and I was intrigued to see what this line would be like, will it be more expensive? Would I wear a damn thing? Will I actually give a shit?
Well, turns out I do. Their new collection will be sold at a pretty impressive lineup of retailers, including some of my favorite online stores like Shopbop and Revolve, and department stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. The line ranges in price from $68 to $448 for more high-quality, leather items. Considering how quickly Kylie's lip kit is flying off the shelves, I can only imagine how quickly this will sell out as well. Apparently I was born a Kylie in the wrong family (just kidding!). You can see their entire new Spring 2016 collection here. A few of my favorites include this sleeveless dress, this knit crop top, and this open-front cardigan.
Another impressive collection that was just recently announced, is between Nordstrom, Inc. and fashionista icon, Olivia Palermo. The collaboration, 'Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28' is now available in store and online. The collection features 32 styles of separates. Stylistically, according to the press release, the collection is inspired with roots in American sportswear staples, and dresses with a polished and feminine appeal. You can shop the entire collection here. A few of my favorites from the collection include this spaghetti strap dress, this chambray top, and these trousers.
What are your favorite pieces in these collections? Who do you look to for fashion inspiration?
