How to Transition Those Spring Colors to Fall/Winter
I've always been one of those girls that has gravitated towards brighter clothing that stands out and makes a statement, buying a number of pieces for certain events and occasions rather than buying true staples that can last in my closet for years and years to come and remain stylish throughout time.
Lately, though, I've been straying from this a bit, and doing some more digging to identify true classic style items (like this Ralph Lauren coat) that I can have in my closet for years to come and will maintain their wear.
Finding these pieces doesn't mean that they have to be expensive, either. About a year ago, I purchased this yellow sweater from Gap in the Marina in San Francisco, and it's been a core staple in my closet ever since. It can be worn with cute jean shorts, a button up skirt, or ripped denim like this PAIGE pair.
One thing to keep in mind as you're transitioning your spring pieces with your fall wardrobe, is that a few simple accessories like this fedora hat or some fringe booties can go along way in making that bright spring tone color easily blend into fall and winter with you.
