I love spring-time because it means pretty pastels and floral prints, but I love taking the traditional and adding a little twist. When you think of springtime fashion, you probably rarely think of the color black, but I love pairing black with either a neon bag, a bright lip, a jewel-toned necklace or colorful flats or sandals.
I got this dress for $15 on sale! What a steal. I love finding affordable fashion on the sale racks that is marked down to something much more budget friendly, particularly if it's over $30 off (which was the case with this dress!) I went in looking for t-shirts or neutral tank tops, but left with this cute little number.
I immediately thought this outfit would be cute for an outdoor shoot near my parent's lemon tree and a little wine tasting. As you've probably noticed, although I live in urban San Francisco, I like the juxtaposition of greenery in my photos, I think it pairs nicely - city girl in nature a bit :) For this particular shoot, my dog Harlowe wanted in on the action! She is the sweetest thing ever, and I look forward to showcasing her sweet nature in more posts to stop the stereotypes about pitbulls being scary creatures (it's really all who raises them, Daschunds and Jack Terriers are actually listed as the two most aggressive breeds on the AKC temperament list, Pitbulls don't even make the list).
This pink blazer would also be adorable with a white T-shirt and white jeans, and neutral wedges, pumps, or cheetah-print flats.
Alternatively, you could also pair this blazer over a floral shift dress and cute neutral flats or sandals.
