Black & Tan
Location: San Francisco
I am so into big hats right now, and anything bohemian. On this particular day, it was so nice and warm in San Francisco, and this outfit was great for a beautiful walk in the Presidio for a quick photo shoot.
I've worn this chambray top in a previous, recent post in a completely different way, with ripped jeans, zebra print wedges and a maroon top and I love that look. But this is an alternate idea, particularly for those of you in warmer climates right now! San Francisco always has a breeze, but this is a perfect afternoon to evening transition outfit (I think the hat can still be worn at night, but that's just me). After a warm day out or during a fun happy hour, you can easily tie the chambray top around your waist to make it look completely effortless and throw the top back on at night if it gets chilly.
These booties have been featured in another post as well, and I wear them nearly every other day. I normally don't spend too much on shoes, mainly because it's not currently feasible with my budget but also because I am a complete bargain shopper and frequently find adorable shoes at great prices!
A t-shirt dress like this one from Nordstrom I bought about four years ago. Although the color has slightly faded over time after multiple washes (which is somewhat expected), it has been one of my favorite outfit staples I've ever purchased. I've worn it in Vegas as a bathing suit cover-up, in the winter with thigh-high boots and a big sweater, and with tennis shoes and a cute top over it during casual outings.
This hat is also a Nordstrom staple, and I absolutely love it. The color goes with every skin tone, and it's tan, so of course I like it :)
