When you think of Thanksgiving, you likely think warmth and comfort. Comfort food, the comfort of being home with family and friends, and comfortable clothing to keep you warm. I just recently bought this sweater from Forever21, and I can absolutely say it's one of my favorites. I thought about giving up buying items like this from Forever21, instead vowing to myself to spend more on key items like cardigans and jackets that will last season after season, and be worth my money and wear for years.
However, this one was just what I was looking for. It's comfortable and I've gotten endless compliments on it ever since I purchased it. To dress this cardigan up, you can wear it with a bright red top and red lips, a high pony tail and heels; or you can dress it down even more and wear it with Converse, baggy jeans, a white t-shirt and a baseball cap.
All of these pieces are truly versatile and can be worn multiple ways. Each as a standalone piece, or paired together.
I know that when I come home for Thanksgiving, we do a trip or two to the local bars in town, some dinners with friends, and then the rest of my time I'm pretty much lounging at home with my family drinking wine, working out and/or enjoying some time in the spa reading a book (mostly mystery novels).
What are your plans for Thanksgiving this year? I'll be home in Pleasanton enjoying some time off work with family and friends, and helping my girlfriend plan her wedding! I was just asked to be a bridesmaid in one of my best friend's weddings, and I cannot wait to support her on the biggest day of her life.
The other thing I'm looking forward to while home: savings, shoppings, and deals!
If you're anything like me, then you know that Thanksgiving brings Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals where you can grab your favorite brands and products for a discount! Below, I've linked to some of my favorite holiday shopping deals that Nordstrom is offering right now that I thought you'd all like.
