Fall is probably one of my absolute favorite seasons out of the entire year. I love snuggling up with a coffee on a cold morning in my PJs, and I absolutely love buying fall clothes and bundling up in them.
This outfit to me is absolutely perfect for fall, and can be paired with a nice black blazer for colder weather (as I've said before, we're just now barely getting colder weather here in San Francisco - so there's hardly been a need for big coats yet!) or a peacoat for those wintry nights.
Suede is a fabric that's been seen everywhere this year, and I know that it'll continue as a fall trend through the new year and beyond. It's one of those materials that feels great whether it's on boots or booties, or as a skirt or sweater. I'm also really into velvet right now believe it or not, and Nasty Gal has some beautiful velvet dresses I have my eye on for New Year's Eve already.
This photoshoot was so fun, because we just walked a block around our apartment. San Francisco has an endless array of door steps, front stoops, and colorful backgrounds for photos.
This skirt and boot combo could also be paired with a snug black turtleneck, a lightly patterned button up top or chambray top with embellishments, or even a long sleeve crop top for a night out.
I'd order a half-size up in the boots if you're interested in purchasing them (you can through the link I've placed at the top of the blog), as they run a bit small. I'm wearing a size 9 here and I'm usually an 8.5.
