One thing people know about me, is that I watch the Food Network. A lot. Like, probably an unhealthy amount.
But you know what? I've learned a majority of culinary techniques and cooking 'quick-tips' from watching this damn channel. Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives you ask? This addiction installed another bullet on my bucket list to travel around the country trying new foods and smaller, family-owned restaurants.
One particular show that I cannot, and I mean cannot get enough of is Claire Robinson's 5-Ingredient Fix where she whips up deliciously eclectic recipes made with five ingredients or fewer.
I am also a sucker for cook books that feature pictures. It should be a requirement at restaurants to have pictures of each item listed. In my opinion!
This book features 140, 140 color photos and 125 recipes - including Brioche French Toast with Strawberries and Cream, Grown-Up Grilled Cheese, and many more. I'm so excited to get this tomorrow from Amazon Prime.
Stay tuned for recipes as I cook my way through this book, Five Ingredients at a time!
